Got this great note from Annie today – does anyone else feel the same?
“Four more dreadful weeks of lockdown. I can smell freedom around the corner. And hopefully a really excellent clean just around the corner. God I hate cleaning this house!! Hahahaha”
During this downtime, we are working really hard at improving our website, Social Media and behind the scenes systems.
We are continuing to develop our online training programs, to ensure our superstar teams deliver a sparkling clean every time, all the time.
As a valued client of Ecoluv, we would be so grateful if you could jump on to one of the following links and leave a testimonial, because we all know how beneficial word of mouth is. This will assist us greatly in our social media development and continued growth of our business.

Also, during this time, we thought it would be great to introduce you to our lovely teams, so you get to know them a little better. They are our very important brand ambassadors. It’s always nice to know a bit more about the person behind the name and face.
The women and men Lou & I have chosen to join our Ecoluv family are discerning, honest, hardworking people from all over the world who come to Australia to make a better life for themselves.
They really care about our clients and believe they also can make a difference to the lives of the people they look after.
Today we would like to introduce you to our sister and brother team, Gunawathi (Sokki) and Kanagaraj (Mathan).
Hi I’m Sokki
I was born in Malaysia Cheras, KL and have two siblings, Wanni and Mathan.
When I was 1 year old, my Father passed away. Our Mother remarried and didn’t stay in touch with us. My Dad’s sister raised my siblings and me.
My elder sister finished her diploma and married. Mathan didn’t complete his studies because he was working as a flower delivery guy, supporting his two sisters financially.
I finished my high school studies, and after my graduation, started working as a team leader in “golden cinema screen” cinema which is in Times Square KL. I worked there for 3 years.
Due to our financial situation, I was looking for a new job in 2017 and at that time a friend invited me to work with her in Australia. After a couple of months, I realised that I was getting very low wages, not fair to the job I was doing. I was confused and decided to go back to Malaysia.
I called my Aunty, the one who raised me, and she told me to call her daughter, who was already settled in Melbourne, and get her advice.
I shared my situation and she invited me to work with her in May 2018. And this is how I became part of Ecoluv – joining Tammie, who is Area Licensee, and her family in Melbourne. I feel very blessed to be here with Tammie and Brian.

What are your dreams for the future?
Become a permanent resident, buy a house and have a family for my own to live happily with them. I would also like to have a degree and own a business here.
Hi I’m Mathan
Here is my little story about myself.
I was born in Malaysia Cheras, KL. I have two sisters; Wanni is elder, and Sokki is my younger.
When I was 6yrs old, my Father passed away. Mother remarried and didn’t stay in touch with us. My Dad’s sister raised my siblings and me.
Even though we lived with my Aunty, I didn’t complete my studies because I was concerned about her financial situation, being a single parent with two kids of her own. I didn’t want to burden her any further. So, I sacrificed my studies at 14 years old and started working as a flower delivery guy to support my two sisters.
My elder sister finished her diploma and married.
Sokki finished her high school studies and started to work at “golden cinema screen” cinema. And then in 2017, she went to Australia for work. On Dec 2018, I arrived in Australia and joined Sokki, Tammie and Brian, and the Ecoluv family. I feel so happy to be working and reunited with my sister.
What do you love most about being in the Ecoluv family?
- Good pay
- Basically, I love to do the cleaning tasks, and tidy up
- Nice to work as a team
- Chemical free which not harmful for ourselves and to others
- Like to follow the system of Sustainability

What are your dreams for the future?
My dream is that my sister Sokki is settled and then I would like to marry my perfect partner.
And someday I would love to own my own cleaning business – that’s my dream.
It is an absolute joy to have Sokki and Mathan as part of the Ecoluv family, they are perfect role models for Ecoluv as they always deliver fantastic work with gratitude and a smile.
Once again Lou and I really appreciate all our client’s wonderful feedback and continued communication whilst waiting for our return.
We have been enjoying lovely walks, taking in the wonderful August wattle and we hope you’ve also had some time to enjoy nature’s calming beauty. Take good care of yourselves and your families.
Love and gratitude.
